Hi there I’m Josh! Thanks for taking a few moments to visit my page. I’m a wedding and portrait photographer in Houston, Texas. If you’ve come this far, hopefully that means you’re interested in my work, and I’m honored. My photography style is hard to narrow down into one word so here are a few: emotional, artistic, timeless, purposeful, journalistic, and clean. I’m not a ‘Dark & Moody’ or a ‘Bright & Airy’ type; I’m somewhere in-between. Instead of restricting myself into a tightly defined box of ideas and looks, I let my surroundings inspire me to create something unique every time I pick up the camera. One thing that unifies my body of work is the use of light. I’m obsessed with light, and it sets the mood of every image in the way that I use it.

Aside from being a photographer, I’m a Father, a Husband, and a Musician. I was born and raised here in Houston, and have endured every blistering summer here since 1990. I love this city with all my heart for its beautiful diversity in culture, food, and scenery. I consider myself an artist, somewhat introverted, and I’m a bit of a dork, too. I love to chat about music, movies, photography, food, and traveling.
