Julia + Alec // Wedding at The Bryan Museum/Trolley Station in Galveston, Texas
Alec is another looooong time friend of mine (middle school!) so when he and Julia asked me to photograph their wedding, I was ecstatic! They had an absolutely dreamy ceremony in the greenhouse conservatory at The historic Bryan Museum, on Galveston Island. In the afternoon, the sun comes in at just the right angle and bathes the entire room in soft warm/green light. The grounds themselves are luscious and green with beautiful landscaping, which made for the perfect place for portraits with a plethora of options and looks.
The reception picked up on The Strand at The Trolley Station, a historic building that once housed the train station for the trolley that traverses the island, now a beautiful event space for gala’s that exude class. With a terrace overlooking The Strand, it was another great place for romantic and intimate night time portraits with the bride and groom.
